Despite a devastating fire that caused a likely loss of more than $1 million, sales were still smokin' at a damaged Tommy House Tire Co. Inc. outlet, thanks to the efforts of staff, customersand even competitors.
The blaze occurred after hours on Saturday, March 14 at the dealership's North Pekin retail/commercial outlet, wiping out the building's truck center and storage area but leaving practically unscathed its retail operation.
