Egypt in dispute with Bechtel over nuclear project The Egyptian government is in a legal disagreement over terms of a 10-year nuclear consulting contract signed with US engineering company Bechtel, Bloomberg quoted Aktham Abulelah, the spokesman of the Egyptian energy ministry, as saying. The contract was signed last December for Egypt's nuclear energy program. Abulelah said talks between the two sides are still in progress to resolve the differences, but the talk of re-tendering the LE 1 billion ($181 million) contract for engineering and advisory services is nearing conclusion.
