CANAJOHARIE -- The owners of Richardson Brands Co. are ready to move their local food-processing operations to a business park outside New Haven, Conn., if they don't get some financial assistance from New York state.
Richardson employs 128 people in a 180,000-square-foot factory that makes mints, gum and Gravy Master browning sauce.
However, the company is facing a dilemma when Beech-Nut Nutrition Corp. moves out of the village next year to a new factory in the town of Florida.
