China's iron ore stockpiles fall to 68.51 mln tons by April 17

Shanghai. April 17. INTERFAX-CHINA - Iron ore stockpiles at China's 22 major ports stood at 68.51 million tons on Friday, April 17, down 0.08 percent from April 10, while Indian iron ore stockpiles decreased by 3.16 percent to 16.87 million tons, according to figures released by Shanghai-based Mysteel.

The iron ore trading volume rebounded slightly through the week, as steel mills were more willing to carry out production at current iron ore prices.
