SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 1, 1997--Castelle (NASDAQ:CSTL) today announced FaxPress(TM) Exchange Direct Version 4.0, which enables Microsoft(R) Messaging users to send and receive faxes-over the Internet -- just as they would e-mail messages.
New in Version 4.0, Microsoft Exchange users can e-mail file attachments to fax recipients just as they would to e-mail recipients, or fax documents in a single step from their office applications by using the "Send to mail recipient" feature. Incoming faxes appear in users' Inboxes as if they were incoming e-mail messages.
