SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Quark Inc. announced today that it will provide PDF import and export filters for its leading page-layout application, QuarkXPress(TM), soon after version 4.0 ships later this year.
The XTensions(TM) technology will allow users to import a PDF page into a QuarkXPress document, and export a QuarkXPress page as a PDF file. Last week, Quark(TM) signed a letter of intent with Adobe to license the Acrobat Placed PDF Library, which makes the import filter possible.
