Datatel, Inc. announced that, as part of its ongoing commitment to continually enhance their clients' user experience, it will provide a new interface for Datatel Colleague utilizing Microsoft Silverlight 2 controls. Silverlight is an extension of the Microsoft .NET Framework, which enables the delivery of next-generation, rich Internet applications (RIAs) and media experiences within a browser. The announcement was made at the 2009 Datatel Users' Group (DUG) Conference and Expo being held outside of Washington, D.C., where the new user interface is being demonstrated.
