Stretch Island Fruit Co., makers of all-natural fruit strips and FruitaBu® organic fruit snacks for kids, together with The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation (FTPF), an international nonprofit organization dedicated to planting edible fruit trees and plants to benefit communities and heal the earth, will continue to expand "Fruit Tree 101's" reach in 2009 by bringing fruit tree orchards to approximately 17 new schools in nine cities nationwide as part of the company's ongoing mission to educate children about the importance of eating fruit and caring for the environment.
