RESTON, Va., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Software AG Americas today announced the acquisition of NI-TECH, Software AG Americas' former Canadian affiliate based in Cambridge, Ontario.
NI-TECH, with offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton, and Calgary, is a $13.6 million company with 76 employees and provides a variety of software solutions to the Canadian market. The unit now becomes part of Software AG Americas, operating as Software AG (Systems) Canada under Timothy Hill, Software AG Americas' vice president of marketing and international operations. Andy Coutts, formerly COO of NI-TECH, reports to Hill as General Manager of Canadian operations.
