Namma Cargo Services Company, which celebrated its silver jubilee in 2008, has reported a modest revenue surge for the year. Figures released by the company showed that revenues were SR465 million ($124 million) in 2008 against SR438 million, indicating growth of 6.1 per cent. The company had reported revenues of SR379 million in 2007. Sectors contributing most to growth in 2008 were listed as warehouse to warehouse freight, project logistics, warehousing and distribution and personal effects packing and forwarding.
