Bahrain's Turk Heavy Transport says it is riding out the economic slowdown thanks to ongoing contracts and prospects of new business. Executive director Khalid Turk said five high-value contracts involving project cargo were in the finalisation stage and their implementation would cross over into 2010. He also said the company had received fresh inquiries some of which could translate into orders.
