Danone directors quit Britannia board
Mumbai, Apr 20 (PTI) -- Britannia Industries Ltd today said two nominees of Danone on its board have resigned, days after the Wadia group and the French food giant ended their joint venture agreement.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) the company said Philippe Loic-Jacob and Stephan Gerlich have resigned as Directors from the Board of the Company with effect from April 14, 2009.
When contacted a Wadia Group spokesperson said, Loic-Jacob and Gerlich were Danone nominees on Britannia Industries Ltd (BIL) board.
