It's show time for Tony Kushner at the Guthrie.

"Caroline, or Change," his musical about the relationship between a black maid and an 8-year-old Jewish boy whose mother has died, opens Friday in Minneapolis.

The production, starring Greta Oglesby and directed by Marcela Lorca, kicks off a Kushner festival that will occupy all three Guthrie stages through the end of June.
