Chip Kelly looked no worse for wear after his first practice as Oregon's head coach.
Then he opened his mouth to assess his feelings about the workout.
"Little hoarse," Kelly said. "But besides that pretty good."
The Ducks opened spring practice and the Kelly era at Oregon on Tuesday morning, working out for more than two hours in the Moshofsky Center. And there was no doubt who was in charge, even if former head coach Mike Bellotti was on hand as interim quarterbacks coach.
