If you use a voice-recognition system, vocal ergonomics can prevent a repetitive strain injury. Your vocal cords, soft tissue like the muscles and tendons in your arms, are subject to overuse injuries. While you won't get carpal tunnel of the larynx, you can develop a strain or a nodule that requires rest and treatment.
How do you know if you have injured or strained your vocal cords?
