Point Elizabeth resident Dena Cain is one of the 23 artists who rent space at Olde Towne Art in Portsmouth. Drop by the gallery and see Dena's handmade jewelry, watercolor art and acrylics done with a palette knife. Kas Lippa is the artist/owner of the shop. She began painting three years ago and has done some amazing paintings as well. At a recent First Friday event in Olde Towne, Duncan and Danielle of DnD Music were there to entertain as visitors checked out the art.
Our community has raised and educated many talented young adults. One of them, Western Branch High graduate Patrice Covington, is on a national tour in the musical, "Ain't Misbehavin.' " This show ...
