Insects can do all sorts of things. How might this insect use its front legs?
Insect Acts
Insects are small animals with six legs and three main body parts. They can be found in every kind of habitat.
A praying mantis holds its front legs together. Its strong front legs have sharp spines on them. How do those legs help this insect? The praying mantis uses its front legs to catch smaller insects to eat.

A walking stick looks like a twig. It hides on a branch or bush. Why would this insect want to hide? So that others animals cannot see it.
