A DIET pill that can help slimmers double their weight loss has arrived - with a warning - on pharmacy shelves.
During tests, the E2-a-day Alli tablet saw dieters shed up to 50 per cent more than they would have on a regular diet.
The drug works by helping the body flush out around 25 per cent of the fat contained in food, which would otherwise be turned into flab.
But manufacturers GlaxoSmithKline have warned that Alli is not a 'magic pill' and should only be used along with a healthy diet.
