Apr 22, 2009 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Large entities such as Australian Agricultural Company, Macquarie Pastoral, Primary Holdings and UK-based Terra Firma continue to acquire beef cattle properties in the north of Australia, in the expectation that demand for red meat will remain in a growth trend across Asian markets. The live animal exports segment's health also has positive flow-on effects for southern cattle producers.
