MANILA, April 21 (PNA) -- Mindanao consumers are set to enjoy cheaper electricity rates once the Conal Holdings Corp.'s (CHC) proposed state of the art 200-megawatt power plant to be built using the latest in clean coal technology pushes through.

Conal Holdings entered into a memorandum of agreement with local power distributor South Cotabato II Electric Cooperative (Socoteco II) for the supply of 100-megawatt (MW) electricity that will be generated by the Alcantara- led power firm.
