SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 8, 1997--Fresh Choice Inc. (NASDAQ:SALD) today reported net income of $1,065,000, or $0.16 per share, for the third quarter of 1997.
This compared to net income of $329,000, or $0.06 per share, for the third quarter of 1996.
Year-to-date (the first 36 weeks of 1997), the company reported net income of $649,000, or $0.09 per share, versus a net loss of $442,000, or $0.08 per share, in 1996.
Sales for the third quarter of this year were $18.3 million, a decrease of $310,000, or 1.7%, from the third quarter last year. Sales, year-to-date, were $51.8 million, down 6.6%, compared with $55.5 million ...
