ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 8, 1997--At NetWorld+Interop today, two early leaders in the Gigabit Ethernet market, XaQti Corporation and Extreme Networks, announced that they have successfully completed full speed interoperability testing of their Gigabit Ethernet products. XaQti is the developer of a new generation of Gigabit Ethernet chips and Extreme Networks is a manufacturer of gigabit switches.
