DECATUR, Ga., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Allied Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: HAUL) announced today that Randall E. West has accepted an offer to become president of the Axis Group, Inc., Allied Holdings' logistics company. West, president of Ryder Automotive Carrier Services since Jan. 1, 1996, replaces Doug R. Cartin who resigned to pursue other business interests.
