AFTER A BUOYANT PERIOD, especially concerning massive consumer interest in dark chocolate boosted by a host of health claims, the chocolate bar market is now getting back to basics.

Suppliers are looking to revitalize the sector with new items, packaging, flavors, ingredients, licenses, promotions and marketing strategies, while not forgetting their core products.
