It's been one week since owner Craig Leipold told Doug Risebrough he was no longer the Wild's general manager.

"Yes, I was in shock," Risebrough, put in charge of building the Wild from the ground up nearly 10 years ago, said during a press gathering Tuesday morning at Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub.

Since, Risebrough has gotten on his motorcycle and ridden hundreds of miles. He has planned vacations, reflected with his family and visited with former players.

But not once, Risebrough claimed, has he wondered why Leipold made the change.
