ULSTER'S season has been bereft of an incentive-driven competitive edge for some time now but Matt Williams' men gets the chance to measure his players against Heineken Cup semi-finalists Cardiff in their Magners League clash Ravenhill this evening (7.30).
After successive defeats to Leinster and the Ospreys, Williams questioned his team's commitment as they struggled with the anti-climactic ending to a largely positive season and was rewarded by a well-merited 20-19 victory over Glasgow, their first on Scottish soil in two years.
