THE Bahrain Football Association (BFA) yesterday slammed recent allegations of vote buying against BFA president Shaikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, reports PATRICK SALOMON.
In a statement released late last night, the BFA said that such claims were "unfounded and most importantly false".
The accusations were made over the past week as Shaikh Salman continues to gain important backing for an upcoming election for the Fifa Executive Committee West Asia seat, for which he is running against Asian Football Confederation president Mohammed bin Hammam.
