Trend Alert! White Solid Surface

As a remodeling contractor specializing in kitchens and baths I have noticed a trend toward white countertops. When meeting with a customer for the first time, I ask if they have done any research on their proposed projects. Most of my prospective customers have already looked at kitchen and bath magazines, or have watched home and garden shows on television, and have an idea as to the "look" they are interested in. More and more I am presented with images of white countertops being used with darker cherry or maple cabinetry, along with darker paint colors for the walls.
