NEW YORK, Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- A panel of the National Advertising Review Board (NARB) has recommended that SmithKline Beecham Consumer Healthcare modify a visual 'step' depiction in television advertising that compares its smoking cessation aid, NicoDerm CQ to a competitive product, Nicotrol. The NARB decision is in response to the advertiser's appeal of a June 12, 1997 case decision by the National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureau, Inc. that also recommended that SBCH's visual more accurately portray the different nicotine content and length of treatment of the two products.
