With a career spanmore than 50 years and 57 films, Maureen O'Hara has worked with such directors as Alfred Hitchcock, Carol Reed, Jean Renoir, and the Irish-born John Ford. She shared the screen with nearly every leading man of her time, including Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., Errol Flynn, Jimmy Stewart, Tyrone Power, Henry Fonda, Alec Guinness, Noel Coward, Rex Harrison, Ralph Richardson, and John "The Duke" Wayne. In fact, she acted with many of these gentlemen more than once -- at their request. The Duke, her co-star in several films, including the legendary motion picture The Quiet Man, was a life-long friend.
