Lowry seeks tribunal recall as 'vital' legal advice found
THE Moriarty Tribunal was challenged last night to reopen its investigation into the controversial awarding of a mobile phone licence after the emergence of new legal advice.
Two of the main protagonists in the tribunal, independent TD Michael Lowry and businessman Denis O'Brien, said the disclosure of the legal document was unjustifiably delayed.
Mr Lowry said the newly emerged legal advice clears him of any wrongdoing and Mr O'Brien said it rubbishes the claim of political interference in the awarding of the licence.
