Throughout the centuries, soldiers have always been associated with guns, battles, and wars. Serving in the army, navy or air force once meant physically combating your country’s enemies, and loyalty meant risking your life to bring peace to your people.However, while this kind of patriotism has more or less remained an ideal for Filipino soldiers, the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ recent focus on community activities has put them in a whole new light.
