NEW YORK -- Barbara Deichman will leave her position as president of Ralph Lauren Home, effective Dec. 14, retiring from the home furnishings business.

Polo Ralph Lauren released no information about a possible successor. Deichman is a longtime veteran of the home business who started her career at Gimbels, spent many years at Bloomingdale's and was senior vice president at Calvin Klein Home before taking the Lauren post in May of 2004.
