According to recent research from Finland, "Biologically active, milk protein-derived peptides possess multiple physiological properties related to cardiovascular health, including blood pressure and lipid lowering as well as antithrombotic and antioxidative effects. Of the various peptides, the casein-derived tripeptides isoleucine-proline-proline (IPP) and valine-proline-proline (VPP) have been studied most extensively."
