"Dairy food is a complex mixture of components that have been used as a food by humans for thousands of years. It is naturally nutrient rich, and is associated with prevention of a range of adverse health conditions," scientists in Australia report.
"Increased intake on a population basis has been predicted to result in substantial health cost savings. The components of milk have been recognised as having significant value for commercialisation as ingredients and dairy food is recognised as a useful vehicle for bioactive substances from other sources," wrote I.
