Russia may resume borrowing from World Bank - Kudrin
WASHINGTON. April 27 (Interfax) - Russia may resume borrowing from the World Bank in light of the federal budget deficit, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin told journalists in Washington.
"In connection with the fact Russia is moving to a deficit budget and that the deficit will be significant over the next three years - no less than 3% - we are prepared to consider implementing a portion of projects using funds borrowed from the World Bank," he said.
The borrowing might amount to billions of dollars, not in a single year but spread out over several years, Kudrin said. ...
