Jane Steele Murray, 92, died Monday, April 20, 2009, at her home in Greenpoint Senior Living Community, Liverpool, New York. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Louise Mitchell and Charles A. Steele and granddaughter of Jenny and Edwin Mitchell. She attended Tulsa schools, Stephans College in Missouri, graduated from the University of Tulsa, where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority, and then attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.
