THE WORLD GATHERS IN FRANKFURT FOR THE Ambiente fair, scheduled for Feb. 13-17, to get a glimpse of the year to come in home furnishings. Billed by show organizer Messe Frankfurt as a "multi-sensory experience," new products are expected to meet both high design standards and practical expectations.
"More and more is expected of everyday products whether it is professional quality cookware, fine china or designer household appliances," said Thomas Kastl, director of the fair, in a statement.
