Dozens of Southeast Michigan companies are among those honored in this year's Michigan Celebrates Small Business Awards.
Detroit-based Silver Star Contracting L.L.C. was the recipient of the Government Contracting Award, made by the Michigan Procurement Technical Assistance Centers of Michigan.
Twenty-two metro Detroit companies were among Michigan's 50 Companies To Watch, awarded by the Cassopolis-based Edward Lowe Foundation.
Winners are: Chesterfield-based Achatz Handmade Pie Co., Bingham Farms-based Anesthesia Staffing Consultants Inc., Troy-based Billhighway, Clinton Twp.-based Burkard Industries Inc., ...
