WINNIPEG -- Canwest Global Communications Corp. proudly announced today that Canada's best-loved rock 'n' roll icons, Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings, are supporting literacy through the Canwest Raise-a-Reader Concert Series. Partial proceeds from ticket sales from the cross-Canada tour by the legendary songwriting partners, will go to Canwest Raise-a-Reader to benefit local literacy groups in Canadian communities.
