Eric Aanenson, co-owner of Old Dutch Foods, has been a car nut "since I was 12 years old," he confessed the other day. Which is why he took his Corvette to Auto Concepts Inc. in New Hope to install a supercharged engine, exhaust headers and a performance chip, all in the interest of maximum power potential.
The result: a vehicle with better than 800 horses under the hood, which makes it what Aanenson described in deliciously understated fashion as "a pretty good merge car."
The tab, including stylish Lamborghini doors that open upward instead of outward: "About $20,000," said Aanenson, 65.
