En Route International, supplier of premium quality bakery products to some of the world's leading airline operators, has extended its contract with Christian Salvesen's Temperature Controlled Business Unit (TCBU)--market leaders in frozen food logistics--to encompass a total supply chain solution. Building on a successful 3-year relationship, Christian Salvesen has taken on the flow wrapping and labelling of bakery products to individual airline specification, picking orders and handling delivery to designated points at Heathrow and Gatwick. The operation additionally includes date coding of cakes and distribution to various food service companies.
