Clare delegates will urge Congress to keep Croker available to other sports
THE GAA will lose much of the goodwill it earned through opening Croke Park for rugby and soccer if it decides to lock the gates again once the redevelopment of Lansdowne Road is completed next year.
Clare will urge this weekend's GAA Congress in Cork to allow Central Council retain the right to decide on future use of Croke Park, rather than return to the situation which prevailed pre-2005.
