While this project won't really smash atoms, it is similar in principle to devices that actually do. Because of this, I have called it an "Atom Smasher Wannabe." What it does do is provide startling bright sparks that look just like tiny lightning flashes! Some of these amazing sparks can approach a hundred thousand volts in energy! What type of high tech parts does it use? Well, basically some fur, a small glass jar, some plastic pipe, aluminum foil, water, vinegar, and a couple of other common items.
