Even if the sound on Stephanie Schneiderman's sixth solo release is a departure from the traditional notion of a "singer-songwriter," "Dangerous Fruit" stays true to an important theme in her performance career: experimentation.
For "Dangerous Fruit," she teamed up with fellow Portland musician Keith Schreiner. Schreiner previously had approached the artist about a collaboration because he was drawn to her voice and songs.
Producer Schreiner, or Auditory Sculpture as he is also known, contributed such transformative ideas on some of the songs that he gets co-writing credits. The result: "Dangerous ...
