An energy partnership between Turkish Borusan Holding and German firm EnBW and will invest 2.5 billion euro ($3.3 billion) over the next eight to 10 years, the companies said on Monday.
EnBW has bought half of Borusan Enerji from Borusan Holding at an unspecified price. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals.
"Our target is to become one of the top seven or eight energy producing companies in Turkey in 10 years," Ahmet Kocabiyik, chairman of Borusan Holding, told a news conference.
