MANILA, May 4 (PNA) -- The Philippines and Bahrain are in talks on a possible development of an agribusiness project,initially on 10,000 hectares of land in Mindanao that will generate some 20,000 jobs. Marriz Agbon, president of the Philippine Agricultural Development and Commercial Corp. (PADCC), said Bahraini Minister for Industry and Commerce Hassan Fakhro and officials of the Bahrain-based Nader & Ebrahim S/O Hassan (NEH) and its Philippine partner, AMA Group Holdings Corp., had paid a courtesy call to President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to personally relay their intent to invest in Mindanao's agribusiness sector, particularly in the Davao region.
