Results of New Survey Presented in Poster at ACOG 2009 Annual Meeting

CHICAGO, May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the publication of the WHI study in 2002 and the dramatic downturn in the use of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) by women for reducing menopausal and perimenopausal symptoms, a new survey reveals that healthcare providers have been largely supportive of Remifemin(R) black cohosh extract as an alternative to HRT.

Results of the web-based survey of 692 women were presented this week in a poster at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Annual Clinical Meeting in Chicago.
