CD-rewritable technology may extend the life of CD technology, even in the face of DVD
The use of multimedia CD-ROMs has increased dramatically over the past few years, offering computer users new opportunities for learning and entertainment. Unfortunately, those conventional CD-ROM discs are read-only; they don't give users the ability to store information. That's a shame, because with their large information capacity, CDs would be a natural choice for the storage and archiving of data.
