May 6, 2009 (FinancialWire) -- PerkinElmer, Inc. (NYSE: PKI) has acquired Analytica of Branford, Inc., a producer of mass spectrometry and ion source technology. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The company said that the acquisition is part of its plans to grow its human and environmental health portfolio.
